Soy-based products

Soy products from CHS include soybean meal and Honeysoy, a soy-based flour product that can be used for cooking and baking. Soybean meal can be ordered for delivery by barge or train. Honeysoy can be shipped for delivery by rail car or truck.

Soybean meal
Soybean meal is a product developed through the creation of soybean oil. It is an animal feed ingredient that can be fed to cattle, hogs or chickens.
Honeysoy®
Honeysoy is a soy-based flour product that is often used in cooking and baking. It is is available in bulk quantities for food manufacturers for use in baked goods and other items.

Canola meal

Canola meal is developed through the canola crushing process that creates canola oil. The solids that remain after the crushing process are called canola meal and are sold to local animal producers to be used as animal feed. 

Canola meal product originates in northern Minnesota and can be ordered for delivery by truck or train. Work with our team of traders to determine what options are best for you.

Dried distiller grain products

Dried distiller grain products are sourced from our facilities in the Midwest and from partner facilities throughout the world. Our team of industry-leading professionals can provide guidance on buying or selling DDG products via truck, train, barge or vessel.

Dried distiller grains (DDGs)
DDGs are created through the process of creating ethanol, where corn is crushed and the result is ethanol and distillers grain mash. Distillers grain can be sourced as as both a wet and dry feed product and can be used as a feed product for animal producers throughout the United States and beyond.
Corn fermented protein

Corn fermented protein is derived from an ethanol process that separates the yeast and protein from the mash after ethanol processing. The protein levels are generally between 48 and 55% on an as is basis, and this product can be used to increase the protein in animal diets including poultry and dairy. It is also often sourced as an ingredient for pet food or aquaculture rations.
